    Happy June 1st!

The Legion TD 2 closed beta is coming at the end of this year. Secure your spot with a closed beta key.

Secure your spot with a closed beta key!

The number one request we've received over the last few months is: "I missed the Kickstarter. How can I play in the closed beta?" We've partnered with Humble Bundle and are now offering the ability to pre-order a Legion TD 2 closed beta key. You will receive your Steam key a few months before the game launches in December 2016.

Earlier is better. We're limiting the number of people in the closed beta, so if you're sure you want to play, we recommend securing your spot with a closed beta key.

We're also rewarding those who order early. When you pre-order a key, in addition to a confirmed closed beta key, your name is automatically entered into a raffle for extra prizes. For each person who signs up after you, your name goes in an additional time. So the earlier you sign up, the better your chances of winning. All Aqua+ Kickstarter and PayPal backers will have the same odds as the first person to pre-order a key.

We're giving away the following prizes:
    • June prize: 3x copies of the Legion TD 2 Pre-Alpha demo
    • September prize: 10x invite-a-friend closed beta keys
    • December prize: 10x invite-a-friend closed beta keys
    • December grand prize: 1x permanently unlocked game account
At the end of the day, the raffle is just for fun. The main draw of being in the closed beta is playing the game 6+ months before it opens to the public and giving critical feedback on how to improve the game.

    Steam page is officially live!

We know the game is still a few months away from launch, but this makes it feel so freaking real, I'm getting goosebumps writing this. Check out the Legion TD 2 Steam page!

    Recent Highlights

We've made a ton of progress on the game over the last month. Here’s what Lisk and I have been up to:

    • Converting gameplay systems from singleplayer to multiplayer
    • Developing validation and benchmarking tools to optimize the game
    • Preparing a pre-alpha demo for release this month
    • Creating 2D splashes for Grove fighters
    • Designing game modes, enchantments, and guilds
    • Steam integration and support

Sorry, but i don't understand. If i'm reading this correctly, the persons who did back the kickstartercampaign for 20 euro or more do have a chance to miss a beta spot? If this is the case i'm very disappointed. Can you clarify this?

No if you backed the kickstarter with atleast Aqua-Tier u will be granted a beta key, you just have a chance of getting a 2nd one for a friend.

    Don't worry - that's not the case! :)

Kickstarter backers always get an equal or better deal because they were the first supporters of the game, and we want to honor that. All Aqua+ ($20) Kickstarter backers are automatically signed up for the closed beta, and now they get an additional opportunity to win extra prizes, including a second closed beta key for a friend. These extra prizes are based on a raffle, and if you supported the Kickstarter, you get the maximum number of raffle tickets.

Sorry that wasn't clear, Themryon, and thanks for clarifying, LForward!

If we get access to the beta 6 month before launch, does that mean we get access this month ?

I wish, but the game's not ready yet! Legion TD 2 launches in closed beta in December 2016. Closed beta will last around 6 months, after which the game will open to the public. A closed beta key gets you early access to the game from approximately December 2016 to June 2017, and, of course, you'll be able to continue playing for free after that.

Hey lobajotodo! The purchase is a pre-order for the game. Don't worry - we have your girlfriend's email and will be sending her a closed beta key a few months before the game launches in December. Feel free to private message me if you want to tell me your girlfriend's email, and I will confirm that we have her in our database! :)

    Ok
    I purchased the pre-order
Because i used to love Legion TD

The Designing game modes are going to be designed on benchmarking tools? that has support from steam?

Cause i used to love lots of other wc3 games and i bet i'm not alone. (Like footman, civ wars, castle fight, other TDs,Wintermaul, etc...)
And the game is pledged to not allow cash shops, just skins and etc?

    We all love it :)

It will be a standalone game based on steam, and there will be quite a lot of room for modders.

Whole game is going to be f2p, while all purchases you may do are cosmetic changes ... or getting races or smth, yet nothing that has impact on the gameplay.

Do I remember correctly that Legionnaires get beta access aswell? It's been a couple years ago since I've read that somewhere, but I couldn't find it anymore. Just wanna make sure I'm not missing out.
